Elisabeth Norton
Elisabeth grew up in Alaska, lived for many years in Texas, and after a brief sojourn in England, she now lives with her family between the Alps and the Jura in Switzerland.
Elisabeth writes for a variety of ages and reading levels, including picture books, chapter books and middle grade books. She has worked with educational publishers and can write to a variety of specifications, including word count, reading level, key words and phrases, and educational concepts. She also works as a writer and copy editor for publishers who want a native English-speaker to review texts prior to publication.
Elisabeth serves as the Regional Advisor for the Swiss chapter of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
When not writing, she can be found reading, knitting, walking the dog, playing board games, and spending time with family and friends.
